11 weeks pregnant

Well here I am- 11 weeks pregnant- I am already starting to show, but I guess that is expected with twins. Here are some pictures of me and the belly- also Brody our dog- he wanted in the shot...

Weight gain- current weight is 132- I am down about 4 pounds from pre-pregnancy

Symptoms- The morning sickness is much better- I am taking unisom and B6 at night and waking up feeling much better...thanks to my OB for giving me that idea. Waking up at 2 or 3 am to pee each morning

Sex of baby- well we are having twins and we will be finding out the sex in about 5 - weeks or so- Hoping to have one of each so that we can have our Luke and Lucy

Expecting THEIR arrival in January

That is right we are having TWINS!! Can you believe it? Both are really healthy- baby a has heart beat of 156 and baby b has heart beat of 172- baby b seemed really wild! So now our due date is January 30th and we are for sure finding out the sexes....so there you have it...Molly has two little babies in her belly! Thank you God! Here are the pics- so exciting!

So much for round two of clomid....

I'M PREGNANT!!!! I took a test on June 2nd- ok I took 4 tests they all came out positive...so exciting. We got confirmation from the doctor- they say that I am due 2/1/2011! We have our first ultra sound on Friday July 9th to see if we are having one baby or two...there is a 10% chance of having twins due to taking clomid. My OB thinks that it is one...we heard the heartbeat last Friday- 160 Beats per minute. We are not finding out the sex...we do have the names picked out- Lucy Elizabeth and Luke Thomas- so we are calling it baby L until we find out. We are so thrilled, almost still in shock that it actually happened as I filled the script for the second round of clomid. We are blessed after everything that I have been through medically that this can happen- what a miracle! Keep you posted on the number and maybe post a little picture of baby L- 10 weeks yesterday!

Colorado Trip

Hey all...we just got back from a 5 day vacation celebrating my parent's 40th wedding anniversary! My sister, Becky and brother in law, Josh and nephew, Brett were all there....had a great time. Went on some hikes and viewed Vail and all of the many other sites...really great time! The 10 hour car ride was not so fun, but the Jeep made it! Here are some pictures of our trip...

Round 2...

So I went to my gyno yesterday- round two of clomid is approaching....we are going to do clomid again this month, double the dose....so fingers crossed that with clomid and with my acupuncture a little baby will be in my belly soon! I will keep you updated on any other news!

2nd session with Mary

So today was my second session with my acupuncturist and I just loved it....Friday my mom and I went for a consultation and ended up getting my first session of acupuncture- she said that my system is dried up from the surgery and that she can fix me, regulate the acne from the PCOS- regulate my periods and most important make me ovulate to get pregnant! She has this sort of spirit or healing power- and I believe her- I believe it will work....so she told me to come 2 times a week for 6 weeks. So today was the second session of my first week and today she told me that she feels that this will not take long- she looked at me and said this will happen soon! I smiled and thanked her- I feel good when I leave, I feel so much more relaxed and at ease about all of this- i have cried a lot over the last couple months and I just truly believe that I will be pregnant by July...fingers crossed!

Been so long

Hey all...
Sorry it has been so long since I have updated...lots of things going on with us. We have been trying for a baby for 3 months and nothing is happening- so in April I went to my gyno and ran some more tests which showed that I have PCOS- polycystic ovarian syndrome, which is due to me being insulin resistant from having 40% of my pancreas removed- so now having PCOS I am not ovulating and it is making my period cycle like 33-36 days....so for the month of May I was on clomid to help me ovulate, but nothing happened....so today I am meeting with a chinese acupuncurist who deals with infertility- trying to keep my head up about all of this...I just feel so overwhelmed with it all as this was never a side effect that I was aware of after having the surgery- but everything happens for a reason, so keeping a positive attitude! Say some prayers for us that this will work. Keep you updated!
